I love taking photos of places, things, people, whatever catches my attention. It can be the shape; the colours; the structure; the combination of images.. to be honest sometimes it’s just a feeling… I have to stop, jump out if the car and catch “the something” even if that something is a rusty orange tin roof on a deserted stone isolated building on the side of the road in Scotland somewhere! To me it was beautiful..

The photos are used sometimes just as photos whilst others inspire paintings with their colour, shapes and patterns. For instance the Gallos bronze sculpture by Rubin Eynon at Tintagel Castle in Devon. My painting “My Spirit Guide” was inspired by Gallos.
